Synthesis and applications of polyimide

Four synthesis methods of polyimide were summarized in this paper,namely,melt polycondensation,solution polycondensation,interfacial polycondensation and gas-phase deposit method.In addition,we compared and commented on the four methods of preparation polyimide.The solution polycondensation is the most important and widely used method for synthesizing aromatic polyimide up to now.Meanwhile,this paper introduced the applications of polyimide as well.
