Objective To explore the sonogram characteristic of benign thyroid diseases clinically manifesting as thyroid nodules,so as to improve the accuracy of ultrasonic diagnosis for benign thyroid nodules.Methods The sonogram characteristic including 2D real-time ultrasound and color doppler flow imaging of 68 cases of benign thyroid nodules were analyzed and compared with macroscopic observation and pathological diagnostic results.Results There was difference of sonogram characteristic between thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter,which might be applied as a way of differential diagnosis.Conclusion 2D real-time ultrasound and color doppler flow imaging can exactly diagnose thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter and provide imaging evidence for operation therapy.
