Technics study on laser rapid prototyping for metal part with Nd:YAG LASER

Technics Study on Laser Rapid Prototyping for Metal Part was processed with Nd:YAG laser and coaxial powder feeder, and the equipments and methods of laser rapid prototyping were described. The technics parameters, such as the laser power, scan velocity, powder feed rate and the Z axis increment, which influence quality and shape were analyzed in this article. Some examples of laser rapid prototyping on the best technics parameters were presented.
