Discrete Time Transfer Matrix Method for Rigid-flexible Multibody System Dynamics

Based on the discrete time transfer matrix method for multibody system dynamics ( MS-DT-TMM ) , a discrete time transfer matrix method for rigid-flexible multibody system dynamics is established. This method can be used to deal with the problem of rigid-flexible multibody system dynamics. Formulations of the method as well as the numerical example to validate the method are given. Compared with the conventional multibody dynamics methods, the order of matrices involved in the method is lower, and the overall dynamical equations of the multibody system is not needed. This method provides a powerful tool for general rigid-flexible multibody system dynamics.
