The design concepts,design procedures and propellers parameters are introduced,based on the propellers design of a 220 000 m3 LNG Carrier.Different from single propeller ships,the tangential flow must be considered when designing propellers for ships with double propellers,and the method of tangential flow distribution calculation is introduced.The model test results indicated that the performance of cavitation and fluctuating pressure of the tested propellers are good,the amplitudes of fluctuating pressure at eight test points are all below 4kPa,and the propulsion performance can meet the demands of ship speed.
