Benzannulations of 2-(inden-1-ylidene)-malononitrile with ynones toward achieving ortho -aminofluorenyl methanone and fluorene[ b ]pyridine derivatives

Benzannulations of 2-(inden-1-ylidene)-malononitrile with ynones: synthesis of o -aminofluorenyl methanone frameworks under mild conditions. Moreover, the one pot reactions proceed smoothly, delivering fluorene[ b ]pyridines in good yields.
