Hydrodeoxygenation of sulfoxides into sulfides under mild conditions over a heterogeneous cobalt catalyst

A kind of nitrogen-doped carbon material and Al₂O₃ co-supported Co nanoparticle catalyst (Co–NC/Al₂O₃-500) demonstrated high activity, selectivity and stability for the hydrodeoxygenation of sulfoxides into sulfides.
