Colloidal 2D Mo1−xWxS2 nanosheets: an atomic- to ensemble-level spectroscopic study

Colloidal 2D Mo 1− x W x S 2 nanosheets are characterized spectroscopically from the atomic- to the ensemble-level. Band gap tuning and spin–orbit coupling-related exciton splitting them viable as application-taylored colloidal transition metal dichalcogenides.
