Analysis on the Relationship between Agricultural Economic Structure Evolution and Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution in Southern Jiangsu

Based on the data of agricultural economic structure and agricultural non-point source pollution in southern Jiangsu from 2004 to 2020, the bidirectional dynamic relationship between them was analyzed by the generalized impulse response method and variance decomposition method of VAR model.The results show that agricultural non-point source pollution will have a negative impact on the adjustment of agricultural economic structure, and the adjustment of agricultural economic structure will also reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural film, and the adjustment of agricultural economic structure will alleviate the degree of agricultural non-point source pollution.Therefore, the following suggestions are put forward: first, formulate environmental protection policies on a macro level, increase financial support, actively guide social capital, and encourage the progress of agricultural science; Second, microcosmic incentive farmers green production behavior, promote farmer education and training.
