摘要
The study aims to codify the Primary Test of Nonverbal Intelligence (PTONI) on the Kuwaiti environment, study its psychometric properties on a sample of Kuwaiti children, and prepare standards derived from the Kuwaiti environment. The study sample consists of 328 male and female students (161 males and 167 females) with an average age of (m = 7.84, p = 1.125). The test was applied to the sample individually and the sequential matrices of Raven collectively (as a test of correlative truthfulness) was tested. The study relies on the descriptive approach. The study found the most important results that the primary non-verbal intelligence test (PTONI) after codifying it on the Kuwaiti environment has good psychometric characteristics, it enjoys the sincerity of an appropriate hypothetical and structural composition, in addition to enjoying the honesty of a high correlative test, as well as enjoying the stability of appropriate internal consistency. Moeover, the standards derived from the primary non-verbal intelligence test (PTONI) after codifying it in the Kuwaiti environment are similar to the standards in the original version of the test. The results also revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the sexes (males and females) in the Non-Verbal Intelligence Test (PTONI), and the presence of statistically significant differences attributed to the grade variable and age groups.
