Introduction and future outlook of the 3D printing technology

With the development of new technologies and the rise of 5G in China, top-level design has accelerated the new generation of infrastructure construction. 3D printing is a manufacturing technology with pronounced digital characteristics, and 3D printing has irreplaceable benefits compared with the traditional manufacturing industry. The technical principle of the 3D printing technology could be using adhesive materials, including powdery metal and plastic, to construct the object layer by layer based on the digital model files. This paper will introduce 3D printing technology in detail, including the process of 3D printing from the perspective of software application and several standard 3D printing technologies at present. This paper will also discuss both the application and the development of three-dimensional printing technology.
