In this study, C-C composites brake disks with density of 1.79–1.81 g/cm3 are obtained in single TG-CV1 processing. Density including porosity, microstructure, thermal, mechanical properties are tested, and evaluated that the C-C composites have a uniform properties in the disk radial and thickness directions. Friction-wear tests were carried out and compared with the existing carbon brake C-C materials. Dynamic torque tests reveal that C-C brakes by TG-CVT technique have satisfying braking-wear performance for application.
