Preliminary Studies of Some 99mTc Labeled Potential Myocardial Metabolic Agents in Rabbits

SummaryFour groups of new ligands have been designed, synthetized and labeled with 99mTc. Each compound possesses either "active" carboxyl groups for interaction with coenzym-A, or are conjugate of glucose, aspartic acid or cystein. Gamma camera imaging in rabbits were carried out and the heart was chosen as target organ. Two compounds, "ASPEC" and "CEPHACYS" were taken up by the myocardium up to 1.1 and 1.63% of i.d., respectively.
