Electrical Breakdown in SF_6 Between Ring Electrodes

To get the exactly breakdown voltage of SF_6 in actual electrode,the breakdown experiment is compulsory before the structure design of high voltage apparatus.In this paper,experimental results of electrical breakdown in SF_6 between ring electrodes and the relationship between the breakdown voltage and the gas pressure are presented.The simplified model calculation shows the comparison of the experimental results and the engineering breakdown electric field strength.The results can be useful for similar structure design.
