Preventing adhesion of tendon by eariy active movement after flexor tendon suture

Objective To observe the effect of preventing the adhesion of tendon by early active move-ment, after the flexor tendon in zone II was sutured. Methods 98 digits in 71 cases were treated with Center intra-tendinous suture and Halsted suture in edge. Following up 3 to 6 moths, the results were compared with other methods. Results The excellent and good rate was 97.8 % . The method was better than other methods in every stages of follow-up. Conclusion After Center intra-tendon suture and Halsted suture in edge, the patients may do early active movement.The rate of adhesion is low, the effect is good.
