Using Neural Network to Realize Temperature Compensation of Strain Gauges

In view of temperature drifting caused by environment temperature when strain gauges is working,a temperature compensation method of Strain Gauges based on recurrent neural network is discussed in this paper.By using of nonlinear mapping ability of neural network and training network according to actual working parameter,the artificial compensation can be realized.The result shows that when environment temperature is changing from 20℃ to 60℃,the temperature error of strain gauges can be decreased from 0.23% before compensation to 0.02% after compensation and the appearance of temperature drifting can be solved effectively.
