Verification of Ammonium Persulphate Digestion As~(3+)-Ce~(4+) Catalyzing Spectrophotometry in the Determination of Urinary Iodine

[Objective] To verify the method of ammonium persulphate digestion As~ 3+ -Ce~ 4+ catalyzing spectrophotometry in the determination of iodine in urine. [Methods] According to the operational requirements for ammonium persulphate digestion As~ 3+ -Ce~ 4+ catalyzing spectrophotometry, verification was conducted on the linear range, linear relation, precision and accuracy of the method; analysis was made on the requirements in the experiment. [Results] The linear range iodine concentration was 0~300 μg/L; average correlative coefficient was -0.9993; the iodine concentration was 78.5, 151 and 236 μg/L respectively; RSD was 2.2%, 1.3%and 0.8% respectively; the relative error was 0.8%, 0.7% and 0.4% respectively. [Conclusion] This method is simple and worthy of distributing with good linear correlation, precision, accuracy and little pollution.
