Enhancing the local electron density at active sites to promote the selective conversion of CO2 into C2H6

The metal active center within the Cu@BTT-DMTH-COF can facilitate the adsorption and activation of CO 2 , as well as the adsorption of *CO intermediates. This capability offers potential for CO–CO coupling and enables the reduction of CO 2 to C 2 H 6 .
