摘要
Resistance of soil to harmonic motion of an infinitely long cylinder is investigated theoretically in terms of linear viscoelasticity. Closed-form solution is obtained from which the complex stiffness can be evaluated. The numerical results agree with those obtained by means of the correspondence principle.
