Interphase Distribution of V(IV) in the Polyethylene Glycol 1500–Sodium Nitrate–Water System

A study has been made of the interphase distribution of V(IV) ions in a nitrate system with polyethylene glycol 1500. The dependences of the distribution coefficient V(IV) on the parameters of the extraction process are obtained. It has been established that the proposed aqueous two-phase systems makes it possible to efficiently extract V(IV) from acidic nitrate solutions with a degree of extraction of more than 70% in one extraction step.
