STUDY ON ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF EXTRACTS OF HAWTHORN

Antioxidant activity of Hawthorn extracts was investigated with DPPH.radical scavenging capacity.Antioxidant capacity of Hawthorn extracts,ascorbic acid and quercetin were compared by IC50 as the evaluating standard of DPPH.radical scavenging capacity.The results demonstrated that the hawthorn extracts have strong antioxidant activity,the orders were as follows:VCquercetinhawthorn extracts.
