Study on parameters of SO_2 absorption and desorption in 1,4-bis(2-hydroxypropyl)piperazine aqueous solution

The effect of absorbent initial pH and absorption temperature on the absorption and desorption performance of SO2 by 1,4-bis(2-hydroxypropyl)piperazine(HPP) was investigated.Results indicated the optimal condition was the absorbent initial pH of 6.00,absorption temperature of 50 ℃,and desorption temperature of 102 ℃,desorption processes of direct heating,desorption time of 2 h.Under the optimal conditions,the saturated absorption capacity reached 0.472 0 mol/mol,the desorption rate was 86.42%,and the oxidation efficiency was 2.29%.
