Numerical Simulation of Casting Process for Flange Pipes and Its Technological Optimization

Taking a typical casting flange pipe as an example, the numerical simulations were conducted by Visual Environment 8.0, Pro/E and ProCAST, and the casting technology was optimized. The puzzles of modeling and meshing in ProCAST casting simulation were solved, which find a way for the application of ProCAST software in foundry enterprises.
