Analysis on clinical effects of Danshen ligustrazine combined with mecobalamine for type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy

Objective To explore the clinical effects of danshen ligustrazine combined with mecobalamine in treating type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Methods Sixty patients with type 2 diabetes and peripheral neuropathy were randomly divided into observation group and control group,30 cases in each group.All patients were treated based on the control of diet and the giving of blood glucose.The control group was treated with mecobalamine while the observation group treated with Danshen ligustrazine based on the treatment of the control group.The clinical effects, nerve conduction velocity,hemorrheology and so on of both groups were observed.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group. Compared with before treatment,the motor nerve and sensory nerve conduction velocity of both groups increased to varying degrees after treatment,and the increasing degree of the observation group was notably higher than that of the control group.In comparison with those before treatment,the high blood viscosity,plasma viscosity and levels of total cholesterol and triacylglycerol conspicuously decreased in the observation group after treatment,markedly lower than in the control group.Conclusion Danshen ligustrazine combined with mecobalamine has significant therapeutic effects in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy,which deserves to be popularized and applied in clinic.
