Methacrylate and ethylenediamine used as raw materials,a series of polyamidoamine (PAMAM)dendrimers from 0.5 to 3.5 generation were prepared,with an ethylenediamine core by repetitive Michael addition and amidation.By increasing the reaction temperature to speed up the reaction rate,the rapid synthesis of the PAMAM dendrimer was achieved.Moisturizing properties of a whole generation dendrimer and the detergency properties of a semi-generation dendrimer were tested.The infrared characterization of the rapid synthesized products and that of the products synthesized in lowtemperature were compared.
