Effects of Combined Application and Application Methods of Boron and Zinc Fertilizer on Growth and Yield of Sesame

Using black sesame variety Ganzhi 9 as material,under the condition of using the same amount of compound fertilizer as base fertilizer,this test studied the effects of using zinc and boron fertilizer as base fertilizer or as foliar fertilizer on the growth and yield of sesame.The results showed that sesame had the highest yield when zinc fertilizer was applied as base fertilizer.Sesame had the second highest yield when boron fertilizer was applied as foliar fertilizer.Spraying zinc fertilizer as foliar fertilizer could also increase the yield of sesame significantly.The application of boron fertilizer as base fertilizer obtained obviously lower sesame yield than its application as foliar fertilizer.Zinc and boron fertilizer as foliage fertilizer,as well as boron fertilizer as base fertilizer all could increase the chlorophyll content in sesame.
