In-vitro study of resistant effectiveness of Jiedu Huayu medicated serums in leukemia cells and multidrug resistant leukemia cells

Objective:This study,through in-vitro culture of cells,testifies the effectiveness of the Chinese medicine Jiedu Huayu compound recipe in resisting leukemia cells and multidrug resistant leukemia cells.Methods:Utilizing the MTT colorimetry,this study chooses leukemia cell K562,HL-60,the doxorubicin-induced multidrug resistant leukemia cells line K562/A and HL-60/A as the cell targets in order to observe the effects,of Jiedu Huayu medicated rabbit serums at different density levels,on their cytokines.Results:Jiedu Huayu medicated rabbit serums apparently inhibits leukemia cell K562,HL-60,the doxorubicin-induced leukemia cell line K562/A and HL-60/A.In addition,it shows dose-rate dependence on the cytokines of K562/A.Conclusion:It is worthwhile to study the Chinese medicine of Jiedu Huayu in inhibiting the growth of leukemia cells and multidrug resistant leukemia cells.
