Application of device for recovering acetylene from carbide slag slurry

The running and application situation of device for recovering acetylene from carbide slag slurry,which was developed and designed by Chlor-Alkali Branch Co.of Taiyuan Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd.,were introduced.Taking 100 kt/a PVC production as example,the average flow rate of recovered acetylene(with purity 95 vol%) was 40 000 m3 per year,or 1 336 tons of calcium carbide per year.
