Study on bleaching of cotton knitting fabric with peracetic acid under ultrasonic

In this paper, bleaching of cotton knitting fabric with peracetic acid under ultrasonic was discussed. The results indicated that under ultrasonic, the concentration of peracetic acid 7g/L, pH value 7, temperature 50℃ and time 60 minutes, the whiteness of the fabric can improve 3～4 compared with normal peracetic acid bleaching method. In addition, it is founded that there is little effect to the stability of peracetic acid under ultrasonic.
