Biocides and marine antifouling coatings——a review

The attachment process of marine organisms and factors affecting this process were reviewed in this paper.Progress on biocides and marine antifouling coatings by different types were discussed and the developmental trend of new low toxic and non-toxic antifouling paints was pointed out.
