Equations were obtained for the temperature-concentration dependences of the enthalpy, heat capacity, entropy, and derived Gibbs energy of the carbides TiC/sub 1-x/, ZrC/sub 1-x/, and HfC/sub 1-x/ over their limits of homogeneity. Equations describing the temperature dependence of the Gibbs energy of formation in the carbide homogeneity region were determined (increments of parameter x in the formula MC/sub 1-x/ equal 0.05).
