THE DELFT CLUSTER

The Delft Cluster is a consortium of industry and academic research groups with international partnerships. It tests and develops underground construction techniques and underground infrastructure design. Some areas of active research include: soil and structure, including soft ground geotechnics, water control and risk management; bored tunneling; pile extraction and emplacement; grouting; and mathematical methods to model actual conditions.
