摘要
Antireflection nanostructures inspired by the moth eye are widely known to suppress Fresnel reflection for broadband and wide-angle illumination. However, the moth-eye principle can also be used for applications beyond antireflection for planar surfaces. Building upon nature’s design, we will demonstrate the application of this bio-inspired effect for self-cleaning, anti-glare window, non-reflective diffractive optics, and suppression of thin-film interference.
