Polyimides via regioselective Friedel–Crafts hydroxyalkylation polycondensation with the reaction-enhanced reactivity of intermediate mechanism

This article presents a mild, efficient, feasible, and atomically economic Friedel-Crafts hydroxyalkylation polycondensation reaction for the synthesis of polyimide with novel triarylmethane backbone structure.
