Tailoring the performance of the LiNi0.8Mn0.1Co0.1O2 cathode using Al2O3 and MoO3 artificial cathode electrolyte interphase (CEI) layers through plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) coating

PEALD was employed to coat the LiNi 0.8 Mn 0.1 Co 0.1 O 2 electrode with Al 2 O 3 and MoO 3 artificial CEI layers. The artificial CEI layer can reduce the Li–Ni mixing. The electrochemical performance of different coating layers was compared.
