Strength Test Pressure Calculation for Pressure Pipeline and Blanking Plate Selection

This paper introduces the physical significances of pressure pipeline design parameters, calculational formulas and relevant pipeline pressure test items of current codes, explains the calcula-tional method of test pressure combining a practical calculation example. At the same time, it discusses the problems of thickness option and thickness decrease of blanking plate, thus it offers a sufficient theoretical basis for determining key parameters of pipeline pressure test.
