Determination of Iron Content in Magnetite and Ochre by Colorimetry

Objective:To study the determination method of iron content in magnetite and ochre by colorimetry.Methods:Adopting the colorimetry of complex and 1,10 phenanthroline.Results:The average recovery was 100.06%. RSD was 0.45%(n=12).Conclusion:This study offers a new method for iron content determination of the Chinese medicinal of mineral by colorimetry.
