Measurement of Size Distribution and Microviscosity of Dipalmitoyl Cyclocytidine Liposome

Physical stability of dipalmitoyl cyclocytidine(DPCC) liposome was evaluated.DPCC liposome was prepared by reverse phase evaporation method.Compared with blank liposome,the size distribution and microviscosity of DPCC liposome were measured.Results showed that the mean particle diameter of DPCC liposome changed only 0.52 μm after heating under 37 ℃ for 40 h,while the value of blank liposome was 1.35 μm.The microviscosity of DPCC liposome was about 2 times as high as that of blank liposome.DPCC loaded in liposome enhanced the physical stability of liposome.
