Introducing isocyanurate group can enhance the heat resistance property of polyurethane (PU) elastomer, but has some effects on the other properties of PU elastomer. The effects of isocyanurate group on the mechanical property and solvent resistance property of PU elastomers are investigated by changing NCO content. The results of mechanical property tests showed that the hardness, tensile strength and tear strength of PU elastomer reached the maximum value of Shore A 60, 10.33MPa and 48.84kN/m respectively when NCO mass fraction was 8%. With increasing of NCO mass fraction, the elongation at break of PU elastomers decreases and the tensile strength at 100% elongation of PU elastomers increases. The results of solvent resistance tests showed that the solvent resistance property of PU elastomers is the best when the NCO mass fraction is 8%.
