Treatment of vitiligo with topical PUVA

In order to investigate the effects o f the treatment of vitiligo with topi cal PUVA,eighty patients with vitiligo were treated with topical PUVA.The results indic ated that fifteen patients(18.75%)showed repigmentation after thirty times.The regional type of vitiligo had a better effect.The rate of repigmentation was related to th e course of the disease and was not related to the phototoxic reaction of the skin.Topical PUVA is a effective therapeutics for vitili go.
