Dynamic Detection and Research for the Pantograph Catenary System

The method to test the pantograph catenary system for the electric railway at present is introduced in this paper. The system composition,working principle and applied situation in the field are given for the device which is used to detect the faults of the pantograph contact line and installed in the operating electric locomotives.A comparison between the device and the catenary inspection car is made.
