New Approaches to Identification and Direct Isolation of Novel Bioactive Compounds from Natural Products

Natural products play important role in human health.The search for new biologically active compounds from natural products has been of interest.There is an increasing demand for rapid methods for structural elucidation of trace constituents with molecular diversity applicable to natural product extracts.The hyphenation of LC/MS(LC/MSn),LC/NMR,LC/NMR/MS and LC/SPE/NMR/MS are proposed as the powerful screening method of natural products.The combination of above hyphenation and affinity chromatography is efficient to screen new biologically active compounds and lead compounds.
