Study on the Microwave Irradiation Technology Applied in Synthesizing Polymer and Its Development

The development of microwave irradiation technology applied in polymer synthesis is reviewed. The applications of microwave technology in bulk polymerization,emulsion and solution polymerization and functional polymer synthesis are introduced. Microwave curing of epoxy and its composites are introduced in detail,and other polymer curing by microwave is briefly reviewed. The development trend of microwave irradiation technology in the future is discussed.
