Melanoma and other skin cancers

Abstract This chapter is a concise, up-to-date overview of the epidemiology, aetiology, pathology, presentation, and multidisciplinary management of skin cancers. Melanoma, including cutaneous, uveal, and mucosal melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancers are discussed. The role of systemic treatment in both the adjuvant and metastatic settings is considered, including targeted treatments and immunotherapy. Novel treatment approaches in this area are also outlined.
