Why Precise Personal Management is Needed in Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a type of nerve blinding eye disease that is irreversible. The features of the disease and our cognitive limitations make it impossible to fully prevent development and progression. Even though many great innovations in basic science and clinical practice have been made, the clinical management and blindness rate of glaucoma have not been improved. Therefore, it is necessary that new clinical strategies be adapted that focus precisely on the management of individual glaucoma cases. Key words: glaucoma; precise medicine; individual management
