摘要
Bioelectrical capacitance and resistance measurements of balsam fir trees were taken periodically over a 2-year study and correlated with total foliar biomass. Results indicate that both methods are useful in the estimation of foliar biomass when measurements are taken over a long period and then averaged. One time only measurements, or measurements performed during specific daily periods, results in better correlations between capacitance and foliar biomass than between resistance and foliar biomass.
