Objective: To investigate the combination of automated breast volume scanner and mammography in the diagnosis of breast disease. Methods: 30 cases of breast disease clinic patients were observed by ABVS, traditional ultrasound and mammography in our department. Results: The separate diagnostic accuracy of ABVS in 130 patients was 91.5%(119/130), the separate diagnostic accuracy of traditional ultrasound was 84.6%(110/130), and the separate diagnostic accuracy of mammography was 86.9%(113/130) and the diagn ostic accuracy of ABVS combined mammography applications was 95.4%(124/130). Since the significance better than the two, the diffe rence was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion: ABVS is a new ultrasound method for breast disease and it has a high accuracy rate of diagnosis than the traditional breast ultrasound and mammography. ABVS combined mammography can significantly improve diagnostic accuracy, and it is worthy of promotion in the clinical diagnosis.
