Study on quality standard for Qixuekang Oral Liquid (sugar-free)

AIM: To establish the quality standards for Qixuekang Oral Liquid (sugar-free) (Radix Notoginseng, Radix Ginseng, Radix Puerariae, etc). METHODS: Radix Ginseng, Radix Notoginseng, Radix Puerariae were indentified by TLC. The content of notoginsenoside R 1 in Qixuekang Oral Liquid was determined by HPLC-ELSD. RESULTS: Ginsenoside Rg 1, Radix Puerariae could be detected by TLC. Notoginsenoside R 1 showed good liner relationship in the range of 1.664～16.64μg(r=0.9997). The average recovery was 100.9% with RSD of 2.5%. CONCLUSION: The method is simple and accurate with a strong specificity and can be used for the quality control of Qixuekang Oral Liquid (sugar-free).
