Design and Applying of Fire Auto-alarm System in Jinan Steel’s Medium and Heavy Plate Plant

In order to prevent the fire accident happening,iron and steel enterprises should configure the fire auto-alarm system appropriately in the fire risk places of the enterprises.The fire auto-alarm system of Jinan steel’s Medium and Heavy Plate Plant belongs to the concentrated alarm system.The system adopts field bus and distributed control mode,realizing the functions of real-time monitor in system operation,auto-alarm in fire state and fire alarm information processing.Two cable fire smoldering have been detected successfully since the system was brought into service.It has accomplished the purposes of early discovery in fire and fast fire-extinguishing.The production was proceeding safely under the protection of the fire auto-alarm system.
