The relationship of animal zona pellucida with fertilization of oocyte

This paper discussed the role of mammalian zona pellucida(ZP) in the cause of fertilization of oocyte.It was pointed out that the thickness,elasticity,microstructure,physical and chemical structure of ZP was the important factor influencing oocyte fertilization.
